  1. When does Spring officially start for you, Grethe? I guess I could Google to find out. It's March 20th here!

  2. Hej Wanda! I've put a Danish link in the post. I found out this is not possible to do in a comment!
Spring in DK comes in March, April or May! It is so varied each year that it's impossible to say.
Maybe we'll have an early spring this year. Some of the birds have began singing!
I long so much for spring, but so do we all.....

Cheers from Grethe, who's sitting here on a dark winter's day with snowy showers outside the window, but milder temperatures....which weather will win?

  5. It sounds like we are having the same kind of day, weather-wise. Spring will be here soon, and winter took a long time coming, so I can't complain.

  6. Hej Gerry, what you said, it's actually the first winter where I'm thinking of the importance of surviving... the flowers made me optimistic!

Steve, yes, those lovely spring flowers is the prettiest sight right now.

Teresa, so you've also got some mild days over there. It's a good thing that winter will not last so long this year.

  8. I do love the first signs of spring, Grethe. Those little white blossoms are so pretty.

Our winter has been incredibly mild, so far, but I'm certain that we'll have plenty of snow and freezing temperatures in the next couple of months.

We have had frost and a little snow today. The little flowers and the birds are freezing!

    Hej Cheryl!
It seems that the cold come to you at the same time. The weather report predicts more snow and frost on Friday. Yhe children probably look forward to go out sledging! Cheryl, I hope it will not last for a couple of months!!
