Lovely quote, but I am smitten by the Kroyer paintings on your sidebar. They are exquisite! I love being introduced to painters and my knowledge of Danish painters is growing because of you! Thank you so very much!
Hej Teresa, thank you, but you've also introduced me to some great American painters! But I love P.S. Krøyer, and it's easy to see that he was very much in love with Marie. Unfortunately it ended tragically, he was ill from tuberculosis and was treated with mercury which made him even more sick. Marie fell in love with another man. I would like to tell his story one day. Yes, this one with the universe is a good one, makes you think!! ´)
Hej Steve, so you've had some snow too, and even a snow storm. I'll bet you've got mountains?? We've got no mountains here, only hills, and the Norwegians are dying from laughter when they visit Denmark and see the Himmelbjerget! Himmelbjerget means "the mountain which reaches heaven"! ´)

Love the Michael Weiss quote, as well. :)
Looks like here after a recent snow storm.
