The Horse

There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.

I think the outside of a horse app eals to one's inner sense of freedom and being able to run with the wind without fear or intimidation.

More specifically to man, horses tend to be sleek and muscular, and men tend to identify with that....(I tried not to laugh when I typed that!)

Great pics, Grethe!

LOL! Now I can't help laughing!

But I think you're also right in the first section "To run with the wind". Happens only in my dreams!

But horses are so beautiful.

I love horses. I grew up with them, riding every summer day. I love the feel of their velvety soft necks, and yes, the strength is appealing, too. I even love their smell. The photos are so nice.

Teresa, it must be wonderful to grow up with horses. I was attending a riding school in my young years, but later in life I became seriously allergic to both cattle, horses, dogs and cats. That's why I take so many photos of them when I meet them! I would love to touch them, but I have to keep distance.

Horses seem to represent freedom to me, but most are anything but that. Love your photoes of them in the grass up to their knees!

Thanks Wanda! You've got such lovely pictures from your last walk on your blog. I forgot to mention the swallowtails and the delicious food.
You must be a good cook.

After Kittie's good sense of humour about men and horses I have added some new words. I know a young girl who is exactly like this.
